Qualifying Standards 

 National Qualifying Standards 
 

Point standards are reviewed and adjusted annually by Diving Plongeon Canada's Rules Committee for the following year's competitive season. Divers must meet these point standards to be eligible for entry into individual and synchronized diving events at the senior and junior national championships.

Point standards for the 2005-2006 season are listed below.

Junior Qualifying Competitions

Below is the list of Group 1 and Group 2 Junior Qualifying Competitions for the 2005 Junior Nationals.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The events must run in the same format as the Junior Nationals, e.g. full list.
Divers may only qualify in their age group event.
Results must be provided to Diving Canada in the DPC MMS format. The software is available for downloading at www.rezman.net
results must be submitted to Diving Plongeon Canada within 10 days of completion of the competition . This will help us to ensure that accurate lists can be maintained and updated regularly on our web site on each diver attending one of the qualifying competitions.
The events at the qualifers must run in the same format as the Junior Nationals.

To enter an event at this Championship, a diver shall have qualified on the basis of one (1) or more of the following criteria:

  1. Any diver who placed in the final session of any Senior National Championships from the current season is exempt from qualification for that event ; or
  2. Any diver who has twice met at 2 different meets the current season’s age group point standard for that event at the designated competitions below held during the twelve months. Note: At least one of the qualifying scores on each event must be obtained from Group 1.

If any competitions are missing from this list or if the information below is incorrect, please let us know immediately.
